Nova Trading – new investments

Nova Trading, dealing in distribution of stainless steel and aluminium, is planning on further investments. It is going to expand its current service centre.
In the second quarter of 2012 a new stock will be launched of the area of 4 thousand square meters. It will house a line for cutting coils into sheets. It will be a second device of this kind operated at the Nova Trading service centre. This time, however, the new line will also cut coils of plates.

- Currently, we cut coils up to 3 mm thick and with the new investment we will be able to cut materials of up to 10 mm thick – says Tadeusz Pająk, President of the Board at Nova Trading. – With the new line we will also be able to obtain sheets of greater width – up to 2150 mm.

The production options is what distinguishes this item from the equipment already available on the market. It will be one the first such lines in Poland. Several new staff members are going to be employed to operate it. The costs of the investment amounts to more than 5 million EURO.

Nova Trading supplies stainless steel and aluminium products for the largest Polish and foreign manufacturers of machinery for food industry, home appliances, means of transport, chemical installations, architectural elements, etc. The company has for 10 years developed its service centre adding new pieces of equipment each year – a line for cutting coils into strips, a line for grinding sheets and coils, a laser for cutting sheet, a line for grinding and polishing of tubes. Nearly two hundred people find employment at the headquarters of the company in Toruń. Another fifty works at individual branches in Warszawa, Gdańsk, Katowice, Sosnowiec and Bremgarten in Switzerland. In October this year Nova Trading opened its office in Sankt Petersburg.

Nova Trading is one of the few companies in this line of business with exclusively Polish capital. According to a ranking by the Polish Union of Steel Distributors, it is the largest distributor of stainless steel in Poland.
