Aluminium 2018 – summary

Aluminium 2018 in Düsseldorf is ranked among the most important fair events for our industry. It brings together the largest manufacturers and distributors of aluminium metallurgical products as well as companies processing the products for various branches such as automotive industry, aviation industry, construction industry, packaging industry, etc.

Despite the recent political turmoil, including new custom duties imposed by the US on aluminium, continuous sanctions on Russia, difficulties with supplies of raw materials, etc., the global aluminium production and demand will continue to grow. That is why it is important to take part in the fair and stay up to date with novelties and tendencies prevailing in the industry, in which electric mobility and additive manufacturing, offering numerous applications for aluminium, are currently on the rise. Constantly developing new products and technologies of tomorrow, the industry is ready for these and numerous other challenges. The fair creates a great opportunity to get familiarized with state-of-the-art solutions which will make up our future.

Aluminium 2018 fair attracted 24 thousand visitors from 123 countries across the world. The statistics of the exhibitors show nearly 1000 companies from 54 countries. Poland was represented by several companies, including Nova Trading. For us the fair was a stage where we could present our offer to foreign customers and meet representatives of various companies, including those already known to us as well as some new ones.
