A new line for grinding and polishing square and rectangular tubes

The third quarter 2015 saw completion of another investment in Nova Trading Service Center – already a second line for grinding and polishing square and rectangular tubes and flat bars has been commissioned.

The piece of equipment was manufactured by Surface Engineering. The new lines can process square and rectangular tubes of the maximum dimension of 150 x 150 mm. 

The Surface line is equipped with a whole range of solutions offering automation of operation, smoother machine set up, etc., which reduces the lead time significantly.

Apart from the capacity, the greatest advantage of the new machine is the application of belt oscillation, which makes their wear more uniform and even further improves the quality of the polished surface.

The line so far used by Nova Trading for polishing and grinding square and rectangular tubes will undergo revamping and will continue to be used, primarily for polishing square and rectangular tubes.
